Our History

i2c World, Inc. was established in May 2002 as the international outsourced services unit of I.C.C. Private Limited, an international logistics company. I.C.C. was orginally founded by Mr. Gopal Revankar in the early 1970's as one of the first outsourced back-office service providers in India, providing sevrices such as data entry, transcription and check processing. With the huge volume of documents I.C.C. was shipping back and forth between the U.S. and India, I.C.C. established I.C.C. Worldwide Express (Bombay Courier) the first express shipping and logistics management company providing services between the u.S. and India. The company is privately owned with over 400 employees and 25 branches in the U.S. and India.

I.C.C., the parent company of i2c, is a well-reputed leader in business-to-business logistics, data processing, and communications services. The company was established in the early 1970's as one of the pioneering data computing companies in India, importing early mainframe computers from the U.S. and battling the Indian government restrictions placed on computing at the time. Through determination and persistance I.C.C. has successfully established itself as a leader in the industry and has since branched into various sectors and industries, including data conversion, customer service, and transcription, with major clients worldwide. In 1999, with the coming of the Internet Age and I.P. services, the company established i2c to leverage the low-cost of service from outsourced centers in India to deliver high-quality products and services for foreign companies.
